Guns are considered illegal weapons in almost all the countries in the world. However, in certain instances, some people are licensed to have them and even use them. Guns are considered illegal to have as many people find themselves feeling like they have power over the other people when they have the guns. This makes them misuse the power of the gun in ways such as armed robbery, terrorism, murder, damage to property and impunity among others. To maintain balance in the society, guns are either declared illegal or legal depending on the peaceful nature of a society or the lack of it.

2. Few citizens in different countries are usually allowed to carry and use guns, due to special circumstances attached to their roles and functions in the society. These include cases such as, people who handle and or carry large amount of money, people of prominence in the society among others. Such people then have to prove to the relevant authorities as assigned by the states that they reside in, their need to have the gun.

3. Sport hunting allows for people to hunt animals often times using guns usually in private lands. Most sport hunters create a food plot on their ranches to lure the animals there, where they can easily hunt them without breaking the law, as we all know taking of wild animals from restricted areas is considered as poaching. Sport hunters mainly hunt animals for exotic food purposes or for entertainment.
